All the things we have done!!!

Wow! It has been a while.. so after I got this thing started the surveyors showed up at the hospital. So they left and then Shawn, Gillian, and I all went on a trip to Montana to see Dustin, Heather, and Jack. (pictures to follow) We had a great time. We even go to see the MSU vs. MU game out there. That was pretty fun. Also, this meant that Gillian had her first airplane ride!! She did great! So then we get back and find out what all we need to fix and so Shawn and I started to put long days in at the hospital to get everything up to par. (stripping and waxing floors is mainly what I helped with. Gillian got to spend a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa Minge with we were doing this and we are so greatful to have them here to help us out during that time! So the weekend before the surveyors came back Amiee asked me to go to the Women of Faith conventions. Now I have to admit, I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. Also, for the first time in my life I drove in Kansas City by myself... during the day! I had a blast and I am so glad that I went. (once again pictures to follow!) Well the surveyors came back and all was good for Shawn. So after that, we just relaxed.. well for a little bit. That was until last week. Last week Tuesday, I got home from work and Gillian was running a temp of 103. From there we tried to doctor it at home. The next morning it was back to 103, so I decided I was going to take off work and take her to the doctor. They weren't too worried and so she sent us home but told us to stop back up at the end of the day so she could get another look at her. Well we went home and took a nap and when she woke up her temp was at 104.6!!! Scared me. I took her up an hour later and Dr. Linda told me to watch her. But put her on a med for the UTI that she had. So Thursday morning, she is still running a temp and so I stay home with her again. We decided that since the temp wasn't as high we would run to Beatrice to get a few things. While we were in Beatrice eating, Gillian's bottom lip turned blue. It scared us and we headed back. From there, basically, Gillian was put in the hospital here in Hanover. We were there over night. Friday, we were sitting in the hospital here and her lips did it again. Dr. Linda decided that we needed to go and see another Dr. She called and the on call Dr. in Lincoln and St. Elizabeths agreed to see us that night. From here we went to Lincoln and they put in an IV to get her hydrated again. She wasn't too bad but the Dr. wanted to play it safe. We got to finally go home on Monday morning. The Dr. said that her lips turning blue were nothing to worry about unless it was more than the lips(like the inside of her mouth or her tougue also. Since then, she has gotten back to normal and we are soo happy. Well I need to get to the bank and get Gillian away from the computer. I will add pictures of all of these outings as soon as I can!
